Instructor Policy for Revenue Sharing and Maintenance Charges on Tutor LMS Pro as Sbhub online Classes
This Instructor Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing revenue sharing, maintenance charges, and other relevant terms for instructors using the Tutor LMS Pro platform. By participating as an instructor, you agree to adhere to the following policy:
1. Revenue Sharing
- Instructors will receive 50% of the net revenue generated from their course sales.
- Net revenue is defined as the total course price paid by learners, minus any applicable transaction fees (e.g., payment gateway charges) or platform commissions.
2. Maintenance Charges
- A 10% maintenance charge will be deducted from the instructor’s revenue share. This charge contributes to platform upkeep, technical support, and updates to ensure a high-quality experience for both instructors and learners.
3. Payment Terms
- Payouts will be processed on a monthly basis, typically within the first 10 business days of the following month.
- Instructors must meet a minimum earnings threshold (e.g., Rs.5000) to qualify for payout. Earnings below this threshold will roll over to the next month.
4. Refunds and Chargebacks
- In the event of a refund or chargeback, the instructor’s earnings from the affected sale will be reversed.
- If the reversal occurs after payout, the deducted amount will be adjusted against future earnings.
5. Course Ownership and Licensing
- Instructors retain ownership of their courses and content. However, by listing courses on the platform, instructors grant a non-exclusive license to Tutor LMS Pro to market and distribute the courses.
6. Quality Standards
- All courses must meet the platform’s quality guidelines, including but not limited to video/audio quality, accurate course descriptions, and relevant educational content.
- Courses failing to meet these standards may be subject to removal or require revisions before publication.
7. Compliance and Conduct
- Instructors are responsible for ensuring that their content complies with all applicable laws, including copyright, intellectual property, and privacy regulations.
- Any behavior deemed unprofessional or harmful to the platform’s reputation may result in the suspension or termination of the instructor’s account.
8. Updates to the Policy
- This policy is subject to updates at the platform’s discretion. Instructors will be notified of any significant changes at least 30 days in advance.
9. Termination
- Instructors may terminate their participation at any time by providing a 30-day written notice to the platform. Earnings accrued up to the termination date will be paid out per the regular payment schedule.
- The platform reserves the right to terminate an instructor’s account for policy violations, poor course quality, or other breaches of agreement.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes regarding revenue, payouts, or course management must be raised in writing within 15 days of the incident. The platform will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
